Being awake in the present moment

Shanti Yoga Community!

Except for this email and a few short correspondents I am choosing to remain “unplugged” and fully enjoy this beautiful spring day.

I’ve tucked my trusty phone away in a dresser drawer and am spending the majority of the day in my gardens.

Had I been checking my latest text messages or looking at the most recent facebook posts while raking last fall’s leaves today I most likely would have missed these succulent little edible treasures (morell mushrooms) growing right in my front yard!

A gift and reminder from mother nature to stay in the present moment.

I’m looking forward to sharing yoga practice with you this week. (Scheduel below)  Practing medition in motion and mindfullness by tuning into the present moment we are able to enjoy the magical qualities of life that are often just a whisper or something as tiny as a morell mushroom.
